Yesterday's recount confirmed Representative Rodney Anderson's victory over Democrat Terry Meza. With that election's outcome confirmed, Ryan Data & Research can finalize its win/loss record for the 2016 General Election.

Ryan Data & Research was involved in 19 races in the General Election. Of those, 16 candidates won and will be sworn into office in January. This brings our firm's overall win/loss record to 108-43 since the 2010 election cycle.

Highlights from Election Night include:

-Despite heavy gains by the Democrats in South Texas, Representative J.M. Lozano was able to handily beat Democrat Marisa Yvette Garcia-Utley 61% to 39%.

-Representative Paul Workman defeating Ana Jordan 53.6% to 41.7%, despite the fact that Hillary Clinton carried Travis County with 66% of the vote.

-As mentioned above, Representative Rodney Anderson defeated Terry Meza by a margin of 64 votes (50.07% to 49.93%)
